Attitude of Gratitude

An attitude of gratitude is being thankful for what you already have. Gratitude only attracts more good things to your life. It is the open door to abundance. It’s easy to forget that happiness does not come from getting something that we do not have, but appreciating what we do have. You can start with something as simple as a “thank you”.

Today, I am going to challenge you to start a list. Put today’s date at the top of a sheet of paper and write down at least 10 things you are thankful for. I do this a few times per week inside a spiral notebook. This way I am able to look back and see just how much abundance in my life. This type of list is especially good to reflect upon when you’ve had a rough day.

Here are a few things that I am thankful for today:

  1. Hot coffee
  2. My dog Muffy

  3. A supportive family
  4. Friends that I can count on
  5. The ability to pay my bills on time
  6. A roof over my head
  7. Sunsets
  8. A steady source of income
  9. My curly hair
  10. Tacos!
  11. The clothes in my closet
  12. Hot showers
